It seems that we are now there and that the launch of Apex Legends Mobile, the version dedicated to Android and iOS of the famous battle royale from Electronic Arts, is just missing. The latest news on the game dates back to last April and it seems that important progress has been made since then thanks to the beta program. According to reports in the last few hours, in fact, it seems that EA has started the pre-registrations of the mobile version in several countries.
At the moment there is news exclusively of the Android version, but the game should also arrive on iOS. At present, it seems that the title is about to receive a further test phase that should precede the official launch, so it is not long before it will be possible to access the title.
The most critical aspect of this mobile version is certainly the touch control system, while we do not expect any particular complexity as regards the technical one, since the game has also arrived on Switch and therefore will certainly have no difficulty in running in version complete even on the latest smartphones.
At the moment the battle royale mobile landscape is mainly dominated by PUBG Mobile, especially since Fortnite has abandoned both the App Store and Play Store, making it less accessible for the general public. From this point of view, Apex Legends Mobile has a big opportunity: we’ll see if EA manages to win it.
