Insider Tom Henderson said last week that Grand Theft Auto VI could come out in 2024 or 2025. Prior to that, he correctly predicted information on Battlefield and Call of Duty. So far, Rockstar Games has not responded to such rumors, but Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier decided to support the popular tipster. The release window could have been pushed forward several years by the pandemic, but that’s not all Henderson shared. He also stated that GTA VI will unfold in this day and age, sort of done to give Rockstar more freedom in releasing DLC online.
The largest sink is the city where the players will go. It could be a modern Vice City. At first, it will be small, but with the release of new patches, the city will expand. There will be several protagonists again, this time one of them will be female. This character will do technical things like hacking.
As you might expect, the game is in the early stages of development. Since Rockstar has not confirmed or denied this data, they should be treated with skepticism. Nevertheless, the voices of Henderson and Schreier carry weight in the gaming industry, so they are not far from the truth.
