Remember Pokemon Go? This game was made by studio Niantic, which is now developing a new mobile game with augmented reality – TRANSFORMERS: Heavy Metal. Now for the game, they have made a trial run in Southeast Asia, namely, in New Zealand. The developers talked about this via Twitter . There are two links, while on Google Play it says “Page not found.” Probably it is necessary to install a VPN in New Zealand, it did not work with Singapore.
The gameplay is vertical, we have to run around the city and look for Autobots and Decepticons who are hiding under the guise of cars. The battles are turn-based, we can use cards that consume energy (local mana). The animation of the robots is interesting: they stylishly transform into fighters or cars. It is worth noting that Bumblebee is not like its movie version.

An early version of TRANSFORMERS: Heavy Metal is available on iOS and Android in Southeast Asia. Pre-registration is still available. The global release is planned for the end of 2021, which is a little illogical – to release a similar game in the winter.
